| Question | Current evidence | Safe conclusion |
|---|---|---|
| Is it released? | Meta labels Muse Code beta | Expect product and access changes |
| Is access broader than the older preview? | Meta says expanded global access | Do not reuse older US-only wording as current Muse Code status |
| Is every country supported? | No granular list on the checked overview | Confirm in the current account surface |
| Can Windows install? | Current command names macOS and Linux | Do not infer a Windows command |
Why older availability pages can mislead
Muse Code launched after earlier Muse Spark and Meta Model API previews. A page describing an older developer preview may be accurate for its date and still be the wrong answer for current Muse Code access. Check the product name, model version, publication date, and whether the page is official.
If you cannot access the beta
Start at Meta’s current Muse Code product page. Confirm the intended account, platform, and region. If the installer is reachable but authentication is not, preserve the exact error rather than deleting local credentials. Beta capacity, staged rollout, and account eligibility are separate from a broken shell command.
Use the installation guide for the verified command and troubleshooting for safe diagnostics. Return to getting started once access is confirmed.
